About the role

Tax Staff at Crowe will work together to support our clients spanning a wide range of industries including: manufacturing and distribution, retail, construction, real estate, and diversified financial institutions. We offer many different tax services for our clients, and new hires will be aligned to a practice during the recruiting process. Staff may have diverse opportunities to work as a team member on both domestic and international client engagements.

We provide our professionals with the appropriate level of training, opportunities and support enabling them to take on additional responsibilities and encounter a broader range of experiences earlier in their careers.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of tax returns
• Basic tax research
• Learning foundations of tax concepts needed as a tax professional
• Work evenings or weekends when needed (Saturday and/or Sunday)
• Travel to client sites (car may be required)

Qualifications

• Proficient with Excel
• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in tax, accounting, or similar degree
• Scheduled to meet the educational requirements to obtain a CPA license; must fulfill education-related eligibility criteria prior to starting
• Relevant work experience (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs)
• Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with professionals of all levels

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $62,000 - $100,000 per year.

Schedule

This role follows a hybrid work model for candidates located near a Crowe office. Candidates who are not within commuting distance of a Crowe office may be considered for a remote work arrangement, subject to business needs.
