Responsibilities

  • Lead and review complex tax engagements for REITs, real estate investment funds, joint ventures, and other institutional real estate investment structures.
  • Advise clients on significant tax matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, fund formations, restructurings, and other complex transactions.
  • Research and resolve technical tax issues affecting real estate investment platforms and develop practical solutions for clients.
  • Manage engagement economics, staffing, and client relationships across multiple large and complex engagements.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to investment managers, fund executives, and other client stakeholders.
  • Drive business development initiatives and identify opportunities to expand services within existing and prospective real estate investment clients.
  • Develop and mentor managers and emerging leaders while strengthening technical excellence across the practice.
  • Provide thought leadership on tax legislation, regulatory developments, and market trends impacting REITs and real estate investment funds.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or related discipline.
  • CPA or equivalent credential.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in public accounting in taxation or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years in a managerial role involving clients and team members.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Taxation (preferred).

Pay

The compensation range for this position is $169,100 - $236,000. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location.
