Tax Senior
About the role
SC&H Tax Services Practice is seeking an experienced Tax Senior for significant, growth-oriented career opportunities in our Sparks, MD headquarters. As a Tax Professional with SC&H you will provide compliance and consulting services to our middle market and publicly traded clients. We seek individuals familiar with the tax compliance process, the ability to understand and identify a broad range of general tax issues, preparation of complex tax returns, forming opinions on outcomes of tax issues, strong workpaper techniques and the professionalism necessary to effectively communicate with clients, peers and SC&H professionals at all levels. You'll have the opportunity to develop and pursue creative strategies while using the latest technologies.
Responsibilities
- Provide compliance and consulting services to SC&H's clients.
- Tax planning, compliance and research projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field.
- 3 plus years of experience (Big 4, national or large regional firm experience preferred).
- Experience working on returns for multiple types with an emphasis on Partnerships and C Corps.
- Excellent Research, Writing and Interpersonal skills.
- CPA or pursuing CPA degree required.
- Master in Tax is a plus.
Qualifications

Pay
The expected annual base salary for this position is $80,000-$100,000. Salary offers are made based on a variety of candidate specific factors such as candidate's skills, performance, job responsibilities, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications and market considerations.
