Tax Managing Director, Global Tax Outsourcing

Job Summary

The Tax Managing Director, Global Tax Outsourcing will lead project services, manage risk, and support business development.

Job Duties

• Tax Consulting
• Develops, recommends, and implements practical international tax consulting
• Identifies and resolves complex taxation issues
• Communicates complex technical matters to clients
• Tax Specialization
• Builds and manages relationships with clients
• Maintains client account plans
• Manages projects across all lines of business
• Manages international tax services
• Manages client engagements
• Tax Compliance
• Conducts detailed review of international tax aspects
• Identifies complex and advanced issues
• Leverages compliance role to identify additional tax issues and opportunities
• Marketing and Business Development
• Manages RFPs for account renegotiations
• Exhibits thought leadership in a specialized area
• Affords guidance on international tax questions
• Research
• Identifies trends, best practices, and opportunities
• Provides analysis and recommendations for cost-effective client solutions
• Risk & Compliance
• Manages risk and compliance
• Maintains confidentiality and discretion
• Reviews international tax provisions

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree, required; Focus in Accounting, Computer Information Systems, Economics, or Finance, preferred
• MST/MBT, preferred
• Experience in international tax, required
• Negotiation experience, required
• Experience supervising tax professionals, required
• CPA certification, Attorney (admitted to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction), or Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent (“EA”) (or the equivalent of one of these designations), preferred
• Software proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint, preferred
• Working experience with Smartsheet, preferred
• Experience utilizing BNA, CCH and/or other search engines, preferred
• Language proficiency in more than one language, preferred
