About the role
The Tax Manager will lead the tax compliance and reporting efforts for a portfolio of high-profile technology clients. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for clients.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance and training to junior staff on tax matters.
- Prepare and present tax analyses and recommendations to clients and management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in tax consulting or accounting.
- Experience working with technology companies is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
