Tax Manager [Real Estate Group]

About the role

CohnReznick is seeking a Tax Manager to join our Real Estate Group in the Boston office. This position is hybrid, with team members expected to be in the office on average 3 days a week.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for managing all aspects of client relationships.
  • You will help generate opportunities within existing clients, as well as meet with and pursue new clients.
  • You will develop a thorough understanding of all audit, tax and consulting services provided by the firm, and actively participate in proposals.
  • Work with a team to meet various department deadlines throughout the year.
  • Assist with the process and review of 1065 tax returns.
  • Other Ad Hoc projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's in Accounting/Taxation preferred
  • CPA, JD or EA required
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive tax experience, including compliance and multi-state tax matters
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience
  • Real Estate industry experience preferred
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
  • Ability to lead, manage and develop staff in a highly interactive team environment
  • Proven technical skills with MS Office to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Certified in tax compliance and research software to include CCH Axcess, BNA portfolio and projection, RIA Checkpoint
  • Solid project management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required

Pay

In Massachusetts, the salary range for a Tax Manager is $120,000 to $160,000. Salary is one component of the CohnReznick total rewards package, which includes a discretionary performance bonus, generous paid time off, expanded, and inclusive parental benefits, and access to best-in-class learning and development platforms, to name a few.

Schedule
