Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients.
- Review complex tax filings for individuals, trusts, family investment partnerships, private foundations, estates and gift taxes.
- Understand clients' financial goals, assets, and investment portfolios.
- Provide personalized tax planning and advisory services tailored to individual client needs.
- Communicate complex tax concepts in an understandable manner to clients.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of clients' financial situations to identify tax planning opportunities.
- Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities.
- Sure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
- Supervise and mentor junior tax staff.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members.
- Review the work of team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry trends.
- Conduct research on specific tax issues and provide recommendations to clients.
- Analyze tax implications of various financial decisions, such as investments and estate planning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- Experience: 5 + years of experience in tax consulting, preferably with a focus on high-net-worth clients.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
- Leadership abilities and experience managing a team of tax professionals.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Pay
Competitive annual salary in the range of $140,000 to $180,000, based on individual's experience level.
