About the role
We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Tax Manager to join the Financial Services Group in our Denver, CO office in a hybrid capacity. This position is considered hybrid, with team members expected to be in the office on average 3 days a week for in-person collaboration.
As part of the Financial Sponsors & Financial Services team, you’ll work with leading private equity, venture capital, hedge, real estate, cannabis, private credit, and other alternative investment funds. You’ll deliver comprehensive transaction, fund, and portfolio company audit, tax, and value creation solutions while collaborating with other CohnReznick industry and service line team members.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts
- Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables
- Develop detailed engagement work plans and illustrate budgets and schedules
- Actively participate in proposals
- Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing regular performance coaching and feedback
- Gain the respect and confidence of the team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear direction and leadership
Requirements
- 5+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm
- Financial Services experience preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Active CPA license required
- Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FX
- Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills

Pay
In Colorado, the salary range for Tax Managers is $110,000 - $170,000. Salary determination will vary based on factors such as geographical location, qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies.
