Tax Manager - Exempt Organizations
About the role
Ranked among the largest accounting and consulting firms in the country, Cherry Bekaert delivers innovative and sophisticated advisory, assurance and tax services to our clients. As a Tax Manager supporting our Not-For-Profit industry, you will serve as a key leader in our Tax practice. Alternatively, we are open to considering a Tax Senior for this position, depending on experience and culture fit.
Responsibilities
- Provide clients with tax compliance and consulting services related to protecting their tax-exempt status
- Prepare and/or review tax returns for exempt organizations and their taxable affiliates (Forms 990/1120)
- Leverage your project management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication abilities
- Lead and develop Tax Staff and Seniors in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Demonstrate superior client service skills
- Consult with market and firm leaders
- Network within the community and client industries
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Masters preferred
- An active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting with a minimum of 1 year of managerial experience
- Client industry experience with tax-exempt organizations

Pay
The salary range for this position is $100,060 - $162,100.
