The Tax Manager is a leadership role overseeing all aspects of client tax engagements, managing a diverse portfolio to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple client engagements
• Reviewing complex federal, state, and local tax returns for various entities
• Developing strategic tax plans to minimize liabilities and identify savings opportunities
• Serving as the primary client contact, providing expert advisory support, conducting in-depth tax research, and managing IRS and state correspondence, including audits
• Mentoring and supervising tax staff
• Supporting business development efforts
• Recommending process improvements

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA certification
• At least 7+ years of tax experience

Necessary Skills

• Advanced tax knowledge
• Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication, analytical, and leadership abilities
• Excellent project management skills
