Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Accounting with a Master's in Taxation or LLM preferred, and a CPA certification. With at least 5 years of experience in public accounting or corporate/public accounting blend, you will manage engagements, review complex returns, and provide tax consulting and compliance services to a diverse client base in construction, real estate, and financial services.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax consulting and compliance services to a diverse client base
• Tax research and implementation of special projects
• Manage engagements and review of complex individual and partnership returns
• Build and service partnerships and high net worth individuals with estate, gift, and trust tax planning and compliance
• Develop staff in a highly interactive team environment

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting required, Masters in Taxation or LLM is a plus
• CPA required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or corporate/public accounting blend with a focus on partnership tax
• Successful engagement and client management skills
• Working with the tax team to identify and resolve client issues
• Anticipating and addressing client concerns and resolving problems as they arise
• Experience with growing client relationships
• Strong leadership and mentorship experience
• Strong communication skills
• The ability to lead multiple projects and meet deadlines
