Responsibilities
- Review and manage the preparation of a broad range of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.
- Plan, execute, direct, and complete tax projects in a wide variety of industries.
- Provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients.
- Conduct tax research and remain current on new tax laws and regulations.
- Manage, develop, and mentor members of the tax team.
- Serve as the primary engagement manager with economic responsibilities for billing, realization, and collections.
- Develop and sustain strong client relationships.
- Advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate tax services including planning, research, and other mergers and acquisitions activities.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop and sustain excellent client relationships.
- Manage risks and financial performance of engagements including billing, collections, and project budgets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. Master’s degree in Taxation is highly desirable.
- Must hold a CPA certification or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in public accounting or corporate/public blend.
- Proficiency in tax planning, compliance, and tax strategy.
- Extensive experience with S Corp, partnership, and corporate tax planning and compliance.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments.
- Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and management skills—able to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and experience with tax preparation and research software.
- Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.
- Strong client relationship management skills and an ability to develop unique solutions for complex technical challenges.

Pay
$85,000 - $110,000 per year
