Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned portfolio of business and individual clients.
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Provide ongoing accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting services.
- Develop strong, long-term relationships while serving as a trusted advisor to clients.
- Aid clients with tax planning, compliance, and general accounting questions throughout the year.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional client service.
- Stay current on tax laws, regulations, and accounting best practices.
Qualifications
- Public accounting experience in tax and/or accounting.
- Experience preparing business and/or individual tax returns.
- Bookkeeping and general accounting experience preferred.
- Strong communication and client relationship skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while providing exceptional client service.
- CPA, CPA candidate, or accounting degree preferred (depending on level of experience).
