About the role
A well-respected client is seeking a TAX MANAGER due to the growth in their firm. The ideal candidate will oversee and manage a team of tax associates, prepare and review tax returns, and develop and implement strategies for excellent client service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, fiduciaries, non-profits, and small businesses.
- Manage client relationships with clear communication and expert interpretation of financial records.
- Conduct advanced tax research to address complex planning and compliance issues.
- Supervise, develop, and coach staff to enhance technical skills and professional growth.
- Drive firm culture and contribute to business development initiatives.
Requirements
- CPA license is required; a Master’s degree in Tax is preferred.
- 10+ years of public accounting experience, especially in tax preparation and review.
- Strong general tax knowledge with specialization a plus.
- Proven leadership and client acquisition skills.
- Proficiency in UltraTax software.
- Willingness to work extended hours during peak tax seasons.
Qualifications
- Experience in tax compliance, planning, and consulting engagements.
- Ability to mentor and develop a team of tax professionals.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay
$90,000 - $140,000/annum + Health (MDV), 401k match, PTO
