Tax Innovation - Software Engineering - Manager
About the role
As part of the Software Engineering team, you will lead one or more delivery teams to design, build, and run innovative AI and data-intensive tax platforms. As a Manager, you will provide technical and people leadership, guiding architecture and implementation while driving agile execution and DevOps practices. Responsibilities
- Lead delivery teams in the design and development of innovative tax platforms
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
- Oversee architecture and implementation processes to confirm quality outcomes
- Drive agile methodologies and DevOps practices within the team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex tax challenges
- Transform intricate tax issues into scalable, cloud-based solutions
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
- Confirm alignment with project timelines and client expectations

- Analyse and identify the linkages and interactions between the component parts of an entire system
- Take ownership of projects, ensuring their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion
- Partner with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 4 years of experience
Qualifications
- Master's Degree preferred
- Proven experience leading software delivery teams
- Proficiency in core technology stacks
- Experience designing scalable, distributed architectures
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms
- Experience establishing and running CI/CD pipelines
- Incorporating AI and analytics into products
- Understanding of responsible AI practices
- Clear communication and facilitation skills
Pay
The salary range for this position is $99,000 - $266,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
