Chamberlain Hrdlicka’s Philadelphia, PA office is seeking an Associate with 3–7 years of federal tax controversy experience.
Responsibilities
- Handle federal tax disputes, including audits, appeals, and tax litigation
- Address substantive federal income tax issues
- Engage in corporate, partnership, criminal, and/or civil tax litigation (a plus)
Requirements
- 3–7 years of federal tax controversy experience
- Law firm, IRS Chief Counsel, Department of Justice (Tax Division), and/or U.S. Tax Court federal clerkship experience
- Excellent academic and employment credentials
- Strong oral and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Proven research and writing abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively
- Admission to practice in at least one state (Pennsylvania preferred)
Qualifications
- Degree in accounting, CPA license, or LL.M. in Tax (preferred but not required)
