Responsibilities

  • Work closely with multiple small and mid-sized business clients with a variety of bookkeeping services, including but not limited to: Reconcile bank statements and other balance sheet accounts Enter adjusting journal entries Clean-up of client accounts for preparation of the tax return Provide reports to the client and the tax preparation team Collaborate with clients and respond to client requests and inquiries Onboarding and setting up bookkeeping accounts in QuickBooks Online Assist the tax team with year-end reporting of 1099s Handle special projects as needed Demonstrate the desire to continually grow, learn and develop skills and knowledge through external and internal education, training and cross-training opportunities to maximize personal contribution to the organizational goals and ongoing career development Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients Support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy, helping associates meet their professional goals Enjoy friendships, social activities and team outings that encourage a work-life balance

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • 0 to 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word)

Pay

  • In Atlanta, GA: the pay range is $22.50 to $33.00
  • In Tampa, FL: the pay range is $20.44 to $30.00
