About TKR

TKR is an independent, full-service accounting and advisory firm specializing in accounting and consulting services for businesses and individuals. Join a rapidly growing organization with a strategic vision and dynamic plan. We are seeking a Tax & Assurance Associate to join our team. We are committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace where every team member can thrive.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax and consulting services such as preparing federal and state tax returns, researching relevant tax issues, and communicating their impact on clients’ businesses.
• Prepare year-end tax projections.
• Learn to develop and deliver tax planning strategies.
• Provide services related to planning assurance engagements and preparing financial statements.
• Conduct testing procedures, identify, and assist in resolving client issues, and other financial reporting matters.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Accounting
• Solid academic performance and achievement in relevant areas of study

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical accounting knowledge
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Able to work effectively on a team as well as independently
• Effective time management skills
• Relevant internship or work experience is helpful, but not required

Pay

The total rewards package at Current includes base salary and benefits. Our salary ranges are competitive within the accounting industry and are updated regularly using the most reliable compensation survey data for our industry. New hire offers are made based on a candidate’s experience, expertise, geographic location, and internal pay equity relative to peers.
