Tax Analyst I

About the role

The Tax Department at Dex Imaging is seeking a full-time Tax Analyst I to support the Tax Manager with data entry, data analysis, and tax compliance. This position offers opportunities for growth and advanced knowledge of sales and use tax in a corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Aid the Tax Manager with daily, weekly, and monthly data reviews and updates
• Analyze tax trends and changes to ensure all data is compliant
• Conduct internal audits of tax data within the company's database
• Identify variances and errors to be researched and resolved
• Perform necessary research to ensure data compliance

Requirements

• Competent use of Microsoft software, particularly Excel
• Ability to research and collect data as directed
• High degree of accuracy in performing repetitive tasks
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
• Maintain a high level of confidence while performing duties
• Strong commitment and ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
• Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently and multitask effectively
• Experience with E-Automate a plus
• Prior sales and use tax experience a plus

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of relevant experience preferred

Pay

Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
