Tax Accounting Clerk

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and support indirect tax compliance processes, including coordination of data and payment requests with third-party advisors.
• Prepare and file select indirect tax returns, including:
• Assist with tax registrations and other miscellaneous compliance-related filings.
• Provide support for direct tax compliance as needed.
• Monitor and summarize developments in tax legislation and assess potential impacts.
• Perform tax research and document conclusions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 1–2 years of public accounting and/or corporate tax experience preferred
• Experience with the following systems is a plus: Microsoft Dynamics AX (or similar ERP system), Corptax, BNA Tax Research, OneStream (or other consolidation tools)
• Clearly conveys information to internal stakeholders and external advisors
• Delivers accurate, organized, and high-quality work
• Interprets tax data and identifies issues or opportunities
• Proactively resolves issues with practical solutions
• Works effectively across teams and functions
• Takes responsibility and works independently
