Tax Accountant - Indirect Taxes

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will manage tax compliance across U.S. and international jurisdictions, ensuring accurate reporting and supporting audits, planning, and cross-border initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting, experience with indirect and corporate taxes, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This position is on-site, based out of our Fort Lauderdale Headquarters. The work hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30a-5:30p Eastern Time. Job Responsibilities: File indirect taxes (sales, VAT, GST) and other applicable local taxes accurately and on timeResearch and ensure compliance with state, local, and global tax regulationsReconcile all tax accounts in the general ledger, including property, sales, use, corporate income, and VATSupport tax inquiries and audits from internal and external auditors as well as government agencies worldwideMonitor updates in tax legislation, assess business impact, and communicate changes to leadershipPerform month-end close tax-related tasks including accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysisSupport global tax planning, transfer pricing analysis, and intercompany transaction documentationMaintain and improve internal controls related to tax reporting and complianceCollaborate with Finance, Sales, IT, and other teams to ensure proper tax treatment of business transactionsAssist in implementing tax automation tools and ERP system enhancements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CPA a plus)Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, with Indirect and Global tax experience requiredDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis; knowledge of tax software preferredExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to meet deadlines and perform effectively in a fast-paced environmentCapacity to work independently while adhering to procedures and instructions Why Join Future Tech Influence the future of a rapidly evolving enterprise technology leaderCollaborate with industry giants and public sector innovators to co-create impactful solutionsEnjoy a dynamic, entrepreneurial culture with a clear executive mandate for innovation About Future Tech Enterprise, Inc.
