Tax Accountant

Responsibilities Prepare federal, state, and local individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns.Collaborate directly with clients to gather tax information and address tax-related inquiries.Develop tax projections and assist with planning opportunities.Research tax issues and ensure compliance with current regulations.Handle tax notices and correspondence from authorities.Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks.Work closely with team members to deliver exceptional client service.Support clients with international tax reporting and compliance (experience preferred but not required). Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.2-5 years of tax preparation experience in a public accounting environment.Proficiency with QuickBooks.Familiarity with CCH tax software preferred.Exposure to international tax clients or reporting is a plus.Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple deadlines during busy tax seasons.
