About the role

We are seeking a full-time Tax Accountant to join our progressive team of highly trained professionals. This role involves performing a broad spectrum of accounting and tax preparation duties in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is experienced, self-motivated, and embraces a team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Individual and Corporate Income tax returns
• Analyze financial transactions and assign them to the proper general ledger accounts
• Reconcile all balance sheet and cash accounts
• Perform monthly financial closing processes, including preparation of monthly financial statements
• Conduct income and expense analysis
• Reconcile tax liability accounts and prepare tax worksheets

Requirements

• 4-year Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification and/or consideration for CPA candidates
• Minimum 3 years of tax experience
• Experience in preparation of individual tax returns
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication abilities
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
