AfterQuery is seeking Tax professionals to create and evaluate tax reasoning challenges for our AI training modules. In this remote, flexible role, you will design realistic tax scenarios — compliance questions, planning trade-offs, research memos — that test an AI model's ability to reason through tax matters with precision.

Responsibilities

• Develop tax scenarios, research questions, and compliance cases that challenge AI models
• Evaluate and validate model responses for technical accuracy and cited authority
• Collaborate with accounting and technical experts to calibrate difficulty and topical coverage

Required Qualifications

• Experience in tax accounting, compliance, or advisory
• Working knowledge of individual and business taxation
• Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, EA, or comparable credential
• Experience across multiple entity types or jurisdictions
• Familiarity with tax software and research platforms is a plus
