Tatevik Margaryan is starting a new position as Head, Department of Non-Communicable Disease Prevention and Health Promotion at National Center for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC), Ministry of Health, Armenia.
About the role
Margaryan will lead efforts to prevent and promote health among non-communicable diseases within the Ministry of Health.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce the incidence of non-communicable diseases.
- Oversee public health initiatives aimed at improving health outcomes for Armenians.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate disease prevention into broader health policies.
- Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of health promotion programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in public health administration or related field.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of epidemiology and public health principles.
- Experience working with government agencies and international organizations.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
