Key Responsibilities
- Oversee hiring, training, and performance management; keep staff engaged and provide ongoing coaching for growth.
- Maintain sales goals and visitor volume, manage budgets, and develop weekly sales promotions to drive revenue and wine club acquisitions.
- Manage daily activities, including POS accuracy, inventory management, facility cleanliness, and safety compliance (as head of the safety committee).
- Deliver high-quality onsite experiences and collaborate with the events team to execute brand-promoting activities.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years in a management role preferred (winery, restaurant, retail, or hotel experience preferred).
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and POS/inventory systems is required.
- Certifications: Must be 21+ years old. Must hold or obtain valid ServSafe Alcohol and Manager Food certifications and stay current with all required training.
- Physical: Ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
