Task Force Manager

Sagemont Hotels is seeking a Task Force Manager to serve as an interim leader during open management positions and as a Sagemont Wings Of Excellence quality auditor. This role may focus on one discipline or span multiple hotel areas — including operations, profitability, guest satisfaction, and team engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
• Develop and mentor department employees/leaders to uphold the Hotels’ standards and values.
• Communicate company goals and align property operations with strategic initiatives.
• Serve as the ambassador of the company’s mission to Soar to Success.
• Assist in achieving financial targets including revenue, profitability, and expense management related to position or hotel being served.
• Analyze guest feedback root cause and solutions.
• Monitor labor productivity based on Hotel Effectiveness labor plan and budget.
• Ensure brand compliance, safety, and operational excellence across all departments.
• Utilize M3, Hotel Effectiveness, and brand systems to monitor and optimize performance.
• Inspect property through Wings of Excellence audits for improved performance.
• Manage projects, as assigned.
• Ensure all guests receive exceptional experiences that align with brand standards.
• Handle escalated guest feedback promptly and professionally.
• Maintain open, professional communication with ownership and corporate leadership.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hotel management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or business administration preferred.
• Working knowledge of a variety of brand systems (Hilton, Marriott, and IHG) and hospitality systems and tools.
• Previous Task Force experience helpful.

Schedule

• Full-time position requiring flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Travel, up to 100% of time.
• Active property presence required, including regular walkthroughs and guest interaction.
• Professional appearance and adherence to company uniform standards required.
