Task Force Event Manager

TASK FORCE ASSIGNMENT (HYBRID)

We're hiring a Task Force Event Planning Manager - a creative and detail-oriented event professional to join our hotel team!

In this Event Planning Manager role, you will coordinate all aspects of events - from initial planning to execution - ensuring unforgettable guest experiences.

• Act as a liaison between customers and hotel sales teams, providing direction and supervision during execution of meetings, banquets, and events.
• Available to customers throughout events to solve problems proactively, suggest alternatives, and ensure exceptional event management and customer satisfaction.
• Directly serve group and catering customers by managing group room blocks, food and beverage coordination, public meeting spaces, and billing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years of hotel sales and event planning experience
• 1-year food and beverage experience
• Strong understanding of negotiation and interpretation of contracts
• Developed business communication skills, both written and verbal
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft office
• Present a professional appearance and confidence
• Communicate effectively with public and other Team Members
• Strong time management skills, and ability to work under pressure
• Proficiency with major Hospitality Sales CRM systems and hotel event management software
