Tariff Program Analyst
About the role
The Tariff Program Analyst will oversee and execute tariff mitigation and Temporary Import Bond (TIB) programs across North America. This role ensures compliance, cost avoidance, and operational efficiency by monitoring end-to-end data points within Global Trade, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams. The analyst will coordinate and assist in transformational projects such as process automation, data governance improvements, and technology integrations.
Responsibilities
- Create, implement, and maintain end-to-end monitoring of all tariff activities, including TIB, FSFE, and duty draw back.
- Support compliance, cost avoidance, and operational efficiency by monitoring end-to-end data points within Global Trade, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams.
- Develop visibility needed to adjust long-term tariff goals that align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and cost-saving targets.
- Aid in coordinating and executing transformational projects, such as process automation, data governance improvements, and technology integrations.
- Navigate changing tariff landscapes, provide visibility to mitigation strategies, and ensure business continuity and cost optimization.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools to monitor end-to-end visibility on tariff compliance metrics and operational performance.
- Analyze data and provide insights to support continuous improvement and ensure initiatives deliver measurable value and sustainable results.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal, listening, and presentation.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven record of strong teaming skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and engage with multiple levels of management and cross-functional organizations.
- Advanced Excel skills to manipulate and analyze data.
- Detail-oriented individual with strong multitasking abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and energetic matrix organization with continuously changing program constraints.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Information Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years Supply Chain, analytics, and/or Global Trade experience.
- Demonstrated experience working in ERP systems (i.e., JDE, SAP, etc.).
