Targeting Officer

About the Role

Leidos has multiple Targeting Officer positions in Northern Virginia. Targeting Officers are responsible for guiding and monitoring the execution of collection operations and integrating that collection into a cohesive intelligence narrative. That narrative, incorporating highly complex and specialized multi-INT information, must be communicated regularly to a wide audience of stakeholders, in written form and verbally in both formal and ad-hoc briefings. Throughout this process, Targeting Officers must be able to identify gaps in information and take proactive steps to address those gaps.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide and monitor the execution of collection operations
• Integrate collection into a cohesive intelligence narrative
• Communicate intelligence narrative regularly to stakeholders in written form and verbally in both formal and ad-hoc briefings
• Identify gaps in information and take proactive steps to address those gaps
• Draft and disseminate written RFIs
• Deliver concise briefings confidently and clearly
• Work collaboratively in a team environment, often under high stress
• Think critically and communicate highly complex information accurately, clearly, and in the proper context of a larger effort
• Manage taskings and maintain information flow across multiple organizations

Requirements

• Must have or be able to attain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph examination
• Willing and able to work a weekly rotating 24/7 shift schedule, to include weekends and holidays
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to work in high stress environments
• Experience with targeting tools, databases, all source targeting methodologies, and different intel sources
• Able to manage taskings and maintain information flow across multiple organizations
• Must possess a valid driver's license with Real ID

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 4 to 8 years of full-time professional experience
• Candidates with a Master's degree are highly desirable with 2 to 6 years experience

Pay

Pay Range: $73,450.00 - $132,775.00
