Responsibilities
- Actively adhere to the six core principles of trauma-informed care and promote a trauma-informed culture.
- Uphold Holly Hill’s principles and core values.
- Provide Targeted Case Management Services compliant with regulations set forth by the state of Kentucky.
- Manage a caseload of 25 referred clients and meet agency utilization requirements.
- Complete clinical paperwork within agency timelines.
- Actively participate in team meetings, staff meetings, and continuing education courses.
- Adhere to ethical standards of professionalism, including maintaining confidentiality of each client and their family in compliance with HIPAA regulations and agency policies.
- Prioritize client care, focusing on delivering quality care for clients.
- Seek to fulfill Holly Hill’s mission by providing quality services to clients served.
- Participate in Holly Hill’s Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) activities as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a mental health field with one year of relevant experience.
- Must meet Medicaid requirement for Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) or BHP under supervision.
- General knowledge of mental health diagnoses and community resources.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage time and be flexible.
- Ability to provide treatment services while maintaining clear, professional boundaries.
- Must be able to drive an automobile; local travel required for this position.
- Current/valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with children and/or families in a mental health setting.
Physical & Mental Requirements
- Prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching.
- Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, copier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment.
- Normal range of hearing and vision to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports.
- Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Some exposure to chemicals and solvents.
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and carry out decisions and tasks.
- Ability to handle and resolve problems and make effective decisions.
- Effective communication with others in a professional manner.
- Public contact and good interpersonal skills.
- Mental adaptability and flexibility in dealing with a variety of people.
