Tank Trailer Mechanic

About the role

DOT inspection certified mechanics with 3 or more years of tank trailer repair experience for our Denver, CO branch at 4850 E 74th Ave, Commerce City, CO 80022.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical, or other various systems on a tank trailer
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• TIG aluminum, stainless, or carbon welding (optional)
• Inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)

Requirements

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Able to work in confined spaces

Pay

Pay range dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.
