Tank Cleaning Technician
About the role
The Tank Wash Technician is responsible for executing all proper procedures to clean all trailers, tractors, and peripheral equipment. They ensure that all tanks and peripheral equipment are cleaned to meet proper company standards for quality control and provide the best customer service at the lowest possible cost. This role is accountable for proper completion of all cleaning orders as well as personal compliance with all company policies.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for cleaning all equipment
- Ensuring that all tanks and peripheral equipment are cleaned to meet proper company standards for quality control
- Properly cleaning the trailer/container exteriors according to company procedures
- Ensuring the proper cleaning of all external valves, pressure relief valves, vacuum relieve valves, fittings, hose connections, and hose tubes on the trailer/container
- Enforcing and practicing safety rules and company policy
- Completing and submitting all cleaning orders to the Tank Wash Manager
Requirements
- Tank Cleaning Experience (Preferred)
- High School Diploma/GED
- Must be able to pass a respirator fit test and wear a respirator as part of normal duties (Clean Shave)
- Knowledge and understanding of DOT, HOS & FMCSA standards
- Able to lift 75 lbs. Overhead
- Frequent standing, bending, and walking required
- Able to withstand weather conditions
- At least 18 years of age to be considered

Pay
Competitive salary plus a $4,000 sign-on bonus.
