Tank Cleaning Technician

Duties

• Execute all proper procedures to clean all trailers, tractors, and peripheral equipment.
• Ensure that all tanks and peripheral equipment are cleaned to meet proper company standards for quality control.
• Properly clean the trailer/container exteriors according to company procedures.
• Properly clean all external valves, pressure relief valves, vacuum relieve valves, fittings, hose connections, and hose tubes on the trailer/container.
• Enforce and practice safety rules and company policy.
• Complete and submit all cleaning orders to the Tank Wash Manager.

Requirements

• Tank Cleaning Experience
• High School Diploma/GED
• Pass a respirator fit test and wear a respirator as part of normal duties (clean shaven).
• Knowledge and understanding of DOT, HOS & FMCSA standards.
• Able to lift 75 lbs. overhead.
• Frequent standing, bending, and walking required.
• Able to withstand weather conditions.
• At least 18 years of age to be considered.
