Talent Roster - Technical Design Consultant – Proposal Design

About the role

Responsible for developing and implementing innovative fertilizer solutions to improve crop yields and soil health in developing countries. Work closely with local partners to design and execute projects that address agricultural challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement fertilizer programs tailored to specific agricultural needs
• Collaborate with local farmers, extension agents, and government officials to promote best practices in fertilizer use
• Conduct field research to evaluate the effectiveness of different fertilizer types and application methods
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to secure funding and support for projects
• Prepare project reports and presentations to communicate findings and progress to stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Soil Science, Environmental Science, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in agriculture or related field
• Experience working in international development or agricultural research organizations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel to remote locations as needed

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fertilizer chemistry and its impact on plant growth
• Understanding of sustainable farming practices and their benefits
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
• Fluency in English, with proficiency in a second language preferred
