Technical Design Coordinator
The Technical Design Coordinator will support print production and creative projects for Famehouse's extensive roster in Tour, Retail, and eComm.
- Prepare design files for print and production.
- Cook separations to in-house printers and freelance separators.
- Review separations, pantone calls outs, sizing, and details before sharing with printers and vendors.
- Ensure quality control of internal and external artwork.
- Create thorough tech packs for external vendor consumption.
- Edit and resize graphic art files for required print/production specifications.
- Aid in adapting and specifying artwork for Print on Demand jobs.
- Make design adjustments for exceptional quality and best success in final completion.
- Develop and maintain an archive of vendor templates for products.
- Cover incoming requests and manage scheduling of tasks within the internal team.
How You’ll CREATE
- Admin and Operations Duties
- Coordinate separations to in-house printers and freelance separators.
- Review separations, pantone call outs, sizing, and all details before art files are shared with printers and outside vendors.
- Ensure quality control of internal and external artwork.
- Edit and create thorough tech packs for external vendor consumption.
- Resize existing graphic art files for required print/production specifications.
- Work cross-functionally with Account Management and Product Development teams.
- Aid to adapt and spec artwork for Print on Demand jobs.
- Make design adjustments to art files as needed for exceptional quality and best success in final completion.
- Assist in developing and maintaining an archive of vendor templates for products.
- Cover incoming requests and aid in managing scheduling of tasks across internal team.
VIBE
- 1+ years of relevant experience in an office environment (open to new grads).
- Experience with various forms of print and pre-production processes (mandatory).
- Strong understanding and ability to view and adjust color separations to ensure all projects meet company standards.
- Demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and an ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
- Exhibit excellent follow-through and attention to detail.
- Show strong proficiency and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
