Talent Management Specialist - Onsite Birmingham, AL
About the role
The Talent Management Specialist supports the organization's talent initiatives by managing performance management, learning, and competency programs while ensuring the effective use of Oracle Fusion Talent modules. This role focuses on optimizing processes, supporting system users, and driving continuous improvement across talent management programs.
Responsibilities
- Manage and administer talent management processes, including performance reviews, competency management, and learning initiatives.
- Serve as the primary support resource for Oracle Fusion Talent and Learning modules, including troubleshooting, system maintenance, testing, and enhancements.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve talent management processes through automation and best practices.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to support employee development and performance management initiatives.
- Create, maintain, and improve process documentation, training materials, and internal knowledge bases.
- Research and resolve system issues by identifying root causes rather than relying solely on existing documentation.
- Provide end-user support and training for managers and employees utilizing talent management systems.
- Aid with system upgrades, implementations, testing, and change management activities.
- Generate reports and analyze talent-related data to identify trends and support business decisions.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies and HR best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of Human Resources or Talent Management experience.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms; Oracle Fusion experience is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Preferred experience supporting performance management, learning management, or competency management systems.
- Experience creating process documentation, training guides, and knowledge base articles.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and talent management processes.
- Experience participating in HR system implementations or continuous improvement initiatives.
