About the role
The Talent Management Lead at Reflection is responsible for designing, implementing, and operating the company's performance management programs and cycles. They also lead end-to-end performance cycles, including planning, communications, training, execution, calibration, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Own the design, implementation, and operation of the company's performance management programs and review cycles.
- Develop and evolve performance frameworks, rating methodologies, and evaluation processes.
- Lead end-to-end performance cycles, including planning, communications, training, execution, calibration, and reporting.
- Design and facilitate calibration sessions with managers and leadership teams.
- Partner with Compensation and People leadership on performance outcomes, job architecture, promotion frameworks, and talent decisions.
- Own promotion cycle design, governance, and execution.
- Develop career progression frameworks and support leveling and role architecture initiatives.
- Create and manage internal mobility processes and career development programs.
- Create and deliver manager training on performance management, feedback, promotions, and career development.
- Analyze talent outcomes and identify trends related to performance, promotions, retention, and organizational health.
- Create reporting and insights for leadership to support talent and workforce planning decisions.
- Continuously improve talent programs to ensure they remain scalable, fair, and aligned with business needs.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of experience in Talent Management, Performance Management, Organizational Development, or a related People function.
- Experience designing and operating company-wide performance management programs.
- Experience leading calibration processes and facilitating talent discussions with senior leaders.
- Strong understanding of performance frameworks, promotion processes, and career architecture.
- Experience partnering closely with Compensation teams on ratings, promotions, rewards, and talent outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret talent data and organizational trends.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Experience developing manager enablement and training programs.
- Ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across functions.
- Comfortable operating in a high-growth, rapidly evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building talent management programs from the ground up.
- Experience supporting technical populations, including researchers, engineers, and product teams.
- Experience with job architecture, leveling frameworks, and competency models.
- Experience supporting organizations through rapid scaling and organizational change.
- Familiarity with talent management and performance management systems.
- Experience integrating performance, promotion, and compensation programs into a cohesive talent strategy.
