Responsibilities
- Own the full recruiting cycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and submitting qualified candidates for open positions
- Prioritize candidates who meet AbilityOne disability eligibility requirements and ensure accurate documentation of qualifications
- Maintain consistent and professional communication with candidates throughout the process, providing clarity and follow-through at every stage
- Schedule and attend job/career fairs, community outreach events, and recruiting events as a source to generate qualified applicants and support recruiting initiatives; travel to off-site events is required as part of these duties and constitutes 25% of the role
- Ensure all recruiting activity aligns with AbilityOne program guidelines, EEOC standards, and applicable federal and state regulations
- Maintain accurate and complete candidate records in Paycom and Monday.com
- Submit weekly updates summarizing sourcing activity, outreach attempts, candidate pipeline status, and any barriers encountered
- Flag compliance concerns proactively before they become problems
- Collaborate with HR leadership, operations, and site supervisors to understand staffing needs and priorities
- Communicate proactively and consistently without waiting to be prompted
- Cover site visits and supervisor introductions as candidates move through the hiring process
- Support a smooth handoff to HR staff at the point of hire, as onboarding remains the responsibility of internal HR
- Perform additional recruiting and HR support duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of recruiting or HR experience in a compliance-driven, regulated, or social services environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage detailed documentation and follow processes with precision
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build rapport across all levels
- Comfortable making independent decisions and managing competing priorities without constant direction
- Proficiency in Paycom or a comparable HRIS system
- Experience with Monday.com or similar project management tools
- Experience with FLSA, EEOC, and federal compliance standards related to hiring

Work Schedule
- This is a full-time salaried position based on a 40-hour work week.
- The Standard Schedule is Monday through Thursday, 9 hours per day
- Friday, half day
