Talent Associate & Recruiter (Talent Acquisition and HR Support) - Hybrid - Chesterfield, Missouri (St. Louis)
About the role
Talent Associates & Recruiters at Experitec play a key role in attracting, assessing, and recruiting great people. They collaborate with hiring managers, assist in major initiatives, and support a variety of team projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for various roles, including engineering, sales, field technicians, project management, operations, and corporate functions.
- Schedule interviews, interview debriefs, updates on open positions, and candidate updates.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand team needs and craft engaging, accurate job descriptions.
- Enhance the candidate experience through proactive communication and thoughtful interview coordination.
- Manage onboarding processes to ensure a seamless introduction for new hires.
- Aid in organizing and developing internship programs and representing the company at college and career fairs.
- Track recruitment metrics and provide insights to improve hiring strategies and workforce planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree OR associate degree with two or more years of relevant experience OR high school diploma or equivalent with four or more years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Two or more years of recruiting experience, including interview scheduling, conducting interviews, and dispositioning candidates.
- Strong experience creating standardized job descriptions and postings.
- Strong sourcing experience building candidate pipelines for a variety of niche positions with a willingness to go off script to find the right people.
- Strong instincts for talent, culture, and potential of candidates, not just resumes.
- Experience working in an Applicant Tracking System.
- One or more years handling administrative HR responsibilities.
- Exposure to basic HR policies, processes, employment law, and compliance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Outlook email, and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work hybrid schedule including onsite in office three or more days per week.
- Ability to work flexible 40 hours per week with core hours from 9am-3pm with flexibility to accommodate some weekend, evening and early morning calls and interviews to meet business needs.
- Ability to create reports using proprietary business software.
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with HR metrics and reporting.

- Ability to independently travel domestically up to 10% of the time, including overnights and weekends as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting multi-site or multi-state workforces.
- Three or more years of full life cycle Talent Acquisition.
- Two or more years hiring for industrial and/or manufacturing positions.
- Track record of success hiring high performers.
- Three or more years recruiting for a variety of functions.
- Experience recruiting for engineering positions, inside and outside sales, field technicians, project management, operations, manufacturing, warehouse, technician-level, skilled trade, and corporate enabling functions (HR, Finance, and Legal).
- Relevant certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, PM and/or SPHR.
- Advanced proficiency in SharePoint, Excel and/or HR-related applications.
- Proficiency in HRIS and ATS platforms (such as SAP, UKG, Workday, ADP, Taleo, Rippling, Greenhouse) and/or similar system.
- Experience with HR system migrations and/or process transitions.
- Exposure to employee engagement, L&D (Learning and Development), and/or culture-building initiatives.
- Experience training leaders on HR processes such as Talent Acquisition, performance reviews, career coaching, and/or leadership development.
- Two or more years working at high-growth, startup, and/or medium-sized organizations (Experience developing, enhancing and training leaders on compliance and/or HR-related legal processes).
- Track record of initiating and completing continuous improvements such as Lean, Six Sigma or similar processes.
- Experience with Predictive Index, eSkills Assessments, Gallup Clifton Strengths, and/or the Gallup Q12 Engagement Survey.
- Two or more years of experience as a Project Manager.
- Experience with HR service expansion initiatives that impacted the business.
