Talent Advisor (Recruiter)
New Braunfels, TX location preferred or remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with HR and hiring managers to understand workforce plans, role requirements, and local culture, and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Manage day-to-day recruiting operations, including requisition intake, job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, and offer coordination.
- Administer the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), recruiting platforms, and career sites, ensuring data integrity and user support.
- Utilize innovative sourcing strategies, including social media, job boards, and networking, to attract high-quality candidates.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and coordinate pre-employment background checks.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and manage dispositioning within the ATS.
- Support offer preparation and extension in partnership with hiring teams.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely, professional communication.
- Oversee employment eligibility verification processes (I-9/E-Verify compliance).
- Care for new hire onboarding, including HRIS entry and orientation support.
- Ensure compliance with EEO, VETS, and AAP requirements.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance recruiting and HR operations.
- Support talent development initiatives, including LMS administration and training coordination.
- Assist with employee programs such as educational assistance and scholarship processing, as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, plus 3-5 years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on talent acquisition; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Working knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels.
- Prioritize managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience working with HR systems, ATS platforms, and Microsoft Office (advanced Excel preferred).
- High level of discretion in handling confidential information.
- Ability to travel up to 10% and work extended hours as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with multi-state and/or global operations.
