About the role

Talent Acquisition - Workforce Specialist serves as a strategic advisor to organizational leaders, Human Resources, Compensation, HRIS, and Finance. This role is responsible for full-cycle recruitment while also providing enterprise-wide consultation related to workforce planning, organizational design, position architecture, job profile governance, and Workday position management. The position partners closely with leaders to design workforce solutions, optimize organizational structures, maintain Workday data integrity, and align talent acquisition strategies with business objectives. This role exercises a high degree of independent judgment and influences decisions that impact recruitment, compensation, compliance, workforce planning, budgeting, and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition (35%)
    • Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned client groups.
    • Develop sourcing and recruitment strategies.
    • Consult leaders on hiring, compensation, and labor market trends.
  • Workforce Planning & Organizational Effectiveness (25%)
    • Analyze workforce trends, vacancy rates, turnover, and staffing forecasts.
    • Partner with leaders on workforce planning and succession strategies.
    • Support organizational redesign and workforce optimization initiatives.
  • Job Architecture & Workday Governance (30%)
    • Own Job Profile governance and development processes.
    • Consult on position architecture, leveling, reporting relationships, and organizational structures.
    • Partner with HRIS to maintain Workday position management integrity.
    • Evaluate requests for reclassifications, new positions, and organizational changes.
  • Strategic Partnership (10%)
    • Support Position Control Committee processes.
    • Partner with Compensation, Finance, HRIS, Payroll, and Operations.
    • Lead workforce planning and organizational design initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Five years of progressive recruiting, HR consulting, workforce planning, organizational development, HRIS, or related experience preferred.
  • Healthcare experience and Workday experience strongly preferred.

Pay

The posted pay range complies with applicable law and reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role: $49.27 - $73.90 per hour. Individual pay is set by skills, experience, qualifications, and internal/market equity, consistent with MarinHealth’s compensation philosophy. Positions covered by collective bargaining agreements are governed by those agreements.

Schedule

  • 8-hour day shift.
  • Scheduled weekly hours: 40.
