Talent Acquisition Specialist - Manufacturing/Industrial

Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions. We’re seeking a proactive and resourceful Manufacturing Recruiter to lead recruitment efforts for our manufacturing teams in Solon.
Responsibilities
- Own full cycle recruiting for high volume hourly manufacturing roles, including operators, technicians, material handlers, and skilled trades.
- Manage the recruiting process from requisition intake through offer acceptance, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer extension.
- Partner closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to align on hiring needs, priorities, and timelines.
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines by promoting the nVent employer brand through job fairs, community outreach, employee referrals, and digital sourcing channels.
- Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies to meet hiring goals while providing guidance and market insight to hiring partners.
- Track and analyze key recruiting metrics such as time to fill, start rates, and retention to drive continuous improvement.
- Promote diversity and inclusion throughout the hiring process while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
Requirements
You Have Bachelor’s degree preferred. Ideally 5+ years of hourly recruiting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, high-demand setting. Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to partner effectively across all levels of the organization. Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools (e.g., Workday), as well as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams, and job boards such as Indeed or LinkedIn. Experience with high-volume sourcing strategies and talent attraction methods. Ability to work 4 days a week from our Solon, OH HQ location, and 1 day from home.
