Responsibilities
- Open new job requisitions and post positions as dictated
- Spend a minimum of 50% of time reviewing applications, conducting pre-screening interviews (phone, video and in-person) and selecting candidates to progress in the interview process for open and posted positions
- Update status for applicants and send necessary paperwork as necessary
- Aid hiring managers with the job offer process and participate in all communication activities designed to inform and prepare new employees to be hired and begin work
- Aid in organizing and attending job fairs, including coordinating logistics, promoting opportunities, and engaging with potential candidates to effectively represent the company and drive recruitment efforts
- Maintain and update the job openings list
- Establish and maintain the internal posting procedures to inform employees of internal promotional opportunities
- Aid other team members with projects and administration as requested
- Aid in the onboarding process including hiring people into system, sending out background checks, rescheduling appointments, checking onboarding progress and overall supporting the Employment Office operations
- Aid with the processing of internal transfer forms
- Other duties as assigned by the Recruiting Manager and/or Director of Recruitment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Experience in Human Resources or Hospitality preferred
- Bilingual Preferred: Candidates who are fluent in English and Spanish are highly encouraged to apply
- Occasional heavy lifting (up to 25 lbs)
- Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
