About the role

Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions. We’re seeking a proactive and resourceful Manufacturing Recruiter to lead recruitment efforts for our growing manufacturing locations in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for high-volume hourly manufacturing roles, including operators, technicians, material handlers, and skilled trades.
  • Manage the recruiting process from requisition intake through offer acceptance, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer extension.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to align on hiring needs, priorities, and timelines.
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines by promoting the nVent employer brand through job fairs, community outreach, employee referrals, and digital sourcing channels.
  • Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies to meet hiring goals while providing guidance and market insight to hiring partners.
  • Track and analyze key recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, start rates, and retention to drive continuous improvement.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion throughout the hiring process while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in a high-volume hourly or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, high-demand setting.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to partner effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools (e.g., Workday), as well as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams, and job boards such as Indeed or LinkedIn.
  • Experience with high-volume sourcing strategies and talent attraction methods.
  • Ability to work on-site in a hybrid capacity in Pittsburgh, KS, or Eleanor, WV.
