Talent Acquisition Specialist - Manufacturing and Skilled Trades Winchester

About the role
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist – Manufacturing and Skilled Trades, you'll lead high-volume hourly recruiting efforts that keep Winchester's manufacturing operations running. You'll partner closely with hiring managers, build strong candidate pipelines, and deliver an efficient hiring process while maintaining an exceptional candidate experience in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment. This position will be the primary manufacturing and skilled trade recruiter for the East Alton, IL and White Flyer locations and be aligned with the Olin Talent Acquisition team.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for high-volume hourly manufacturing, production, skilled trades positions and others as needed.
- Partner with hiring managers and HR to understand workforce needs, hiring priorities, and staffing plans.
- Build and maintain qualified candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing, community partnerships, hiring events, employee referrals, and local outreach.
- Deliver a positive candidate experience by conducting phone screens, coordinating interviews, extending offers, and managing candidates through the pre-employment process.
- Maintain accurate applicant tracking system data and hiring documentation, including requisition creation, candidate management, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Track recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, applicant flow, and hiring activity, using data to support business objectives and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Requirements
- Must meet one of the following requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 5+ years recent and relevant experience; OR,
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree* (Human Resources or Business discipline preferred) with 2+ years recent and relevant experience.
- Prior experience with high-volume full-cycle hourly recruiting and in a manufacturing, industrial, or union environment.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple openings in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience sourcing hourly talent through proactive recruiting strategies, community events, job fairs, and educational partnerships.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience with an OFCCP-regulated employer preferred.
- Experience with Workday as an ATS strongly preferred.
- Strong client relationship skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and represent Winchester professionally.
- Must be able to travel up to 25% and possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
*Degree must be from a school that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Secretary of Education of the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent program from an international university.
