Talent Acquisition Specialist
About the Role
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruitment activities supporting manufacturing, operational, and entry to mid-level professional positions across assigned business areas. This role executes recruiting strategies, sourcing activities, interview coordination, and candidate communications while ensuring a positive candidate and hiring manager experience. The position supports recruiting operations, maintains applicant tracking system data, and assists with talent acquisition programs and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Owns full cycle recruitment activities for entry to mid-level professional and manufacturing positions across assigned business areas
- Sources candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels
- Maintains candidate pipelines and applicant tracking system records to ensure accurate recruiting data and compliance
- Partners with hiring managers and human resources business partners to support staffing needs across assigned functions
- Provides recommendations regarding candidate selection, sourcing approaches, and recruiting process improvements
- Coordinates interview scheduling, candidate communications, and recruiting process activities to support an efficient hiring experience
- Supports recruitment marketing initiatives, job postings, and career event activities
- Tracks recruiting metrics and prepares reports related to hiring activity and recruiting effectiveness
- Ensures recruiting activities comply with company policies and applicable employment laws
- Assists with onboarding coordination and pre-employment activities
- Coordinates and participates in events with external recruiting resources, schools, and community organizations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 2-5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Experience with applicant tracking systems preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Working knowledge of recruiting platforms and sourcing techniques
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously
- Working knowledge of employment laws and recruiting compliance requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
