Position Description

Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Department: Human Resources
Immediate Supervisor: Talent Acquisition Manager
Status: Exempt Salaried Position

Purpose

The Talent Acquisition Specialist supports both hourly and salaried hiring across the organization by identifying high-quality talent, optimizing recruitment processes, and partnering closely with hiring managers.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for entry-level to mid-level hourly and salaried roles across IPG North America.
  • Ensure compliance with requisition approvals, job postings, and advertising standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the recruitment process by screening candidates, presenting qualified talent, and refining workflows.
  • Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, provide regular updates, and coach them on interviewing and offer best practices.
  • Career assessments and deliver results to hiring teams prior to interviews.
  • Manage candidate communication and logistics, including interview scheduling, travel arrangements, and onsite coordination.
  • Oversee the offer process to ensure accuracy, compliance, and a positive candidate experience.
  • Collaborate with HR partners to support seamless onboarding for new hires.
  • Maintain and enhance standardized hiring processes for hourly and salaried positions.
  • Partner with Payroll to process candidate expense reimbursements.
  • Support Corporate HR with special projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Talent Acquisition Manager.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of recruiting experience; at least 2 years in the staffing industry strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and detail-orientation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based platforms, including video-conferencing tools.
