About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. This role will be the face and first impression of the business, playing a vital part in supporting the HR Director in maintaining a robust recruitment program and scaling the employee experience. This is initially a short-term assignment with the potential to transition into a full-time opportunity. Your expertise in recruitment strategies and passion for fostering an inclusive work environment will drive our organization's success.
Responsibilities
- Implement Doota’s Inclusive Hiring Strategy to prioritize diversity and inclusion in all hiring efforts.
- Own the end-to-end recruitment process for all vacancies, from junior to senior levels.
- Schedule candidate interviews (phone, video, and on-site) in a timely manner, including site visits.
- Facilitate the offer process, including extending offers and negotiating employment terms.
- Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection processes comply with employment laws, regulations, and company policy.
- Serve as a company ambassador, fostering strong internal relationships and communicating the agency's work and culture to potential candidates.
- Proactively build talent pipelines through personalized sourcing and interview techniques, establishing a systematic approach to managing talent pools.
- Offer suggestions for enhancing the hiring process, employer brand, and candidate experience, collaborating on operational improvements.
- Develop long-term strategies for recruiting, hiring, and retention plans.
- Support the HR Director on recruiting, onboarding, talent development, succession planning, internal promotions, and new hire data analysis.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records while upholding confidentiality and data quality standards.
- Educate managers on interviewing techniques, legal concerns, best practices, and strategies for compliant and equitable hiring decisions, as well as onboarding procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.
- 3-5 years of full life-cycle recruitment or HR generalist experience.
- Understanding of the fast-paced IT and Telecommunication industries and affiliated trends.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust.
- Passion for building the Talent Lifecycle.
- Startup experience is a plus but not required.
- Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.
Work Environment
- Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer.
- Occasional travel to job fairs, industry events, or company project sites.
- In-office work, 5 days per week.
