About the role
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Wolfspeed, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and hiring candidates for various technical and engineering roles across multiple sites. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment where the needs of the business can change frequently, requiring quick adaptation and the development of creative strategies to meet those needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies from inception to completion, tailored to the business's needs
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and candidates, fostering trust and transparency
- Create processes and experiences that enhance both candidate and hiring manager satisfaction
- Identify and source passive candidates through established networks and personal connections
- Communicate effectively with hiring teams, managers, and candidates, soliciting timely feedback
- Manage local relationships for talent and participate in collegiate career fairs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of Talent Acquisition experience
- Customer-facing experience with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong ability to build collaborative relationships at multiple levels based on trust and transparency
- Experience managing competing priorities, shifting gears quickly, and understanding technical concepts
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose issues in the moment and respond with logical solutions
- A positive attitude with the ability to view challenges as opportunities for change

Pay
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The ideal candidate prefers an onsite work schedule, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in Marcy, NY.
